Here are two new additions to the the Twilight promo shoot album. One of them wasn’t great quality to begin with (oversharpened, color altered), so I edited it a bit; hopefully we can track down a better quality one soon. Enjoy!

135: Empire Q&A Screen Captures
Here’s a great new Q&A with Empire. View it on their site, or below via the media archive:
Up next, I’ll have screen caps from Fierce People. Stay tuned! :)
Kristen Stewart is not unlike any 18-year-old you might see sifting through the rack in a second-hand clothes shop or nodding her head at an indie gig, but the difference between Stewart and the average teenager is that she not only performs on screen, but is also expected to be articulate and engaging as she fields questions from the media day-after-day in countries all over the world.
The round of interviews to promote a movie and help make millions for the studio can be demanding and it is easy to forget just how young some of the stars really are. Stewart is learning all about those demands with Twilight, the first film adaptation of the book series written by Stephenie Meyer. “It is the hardest thing,” she says of the levels of press attention now focused on her.
If you have a daughter aged 11 to 15 you may well be aware of the Twilight phenomenon. The books (four in total) have sold more than 17 million copies worldwide, and are the tale of the love between a vampire with a “Blue Steel” pout called Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and a slightly offbeat schoolgirl, Bella (Stewart). It’s The Lost Boys for the tween generation, minus the fangs and blood.
While her co-star Pattinson has become the latest teen heartthrob, Stewart is learning that not everyone wants to be her friend as they compete for the attentions of her on-screen love interest.
“We have to do autograph signings occasionally and usually everyone is so nice and excited but sometimes they just walk by and if their expressions spoke they would say, ‘We’re not here for you, we’re here for Rob. Don’t think you’re so special. We don’t even want your autograph’.”
She’s aware that doing a movie with such a huge following as this, and the sequels that will follow, brings with it a pressure that she hasn’t experienced before. “Normally if you do a movie and it touches people or says something to somebody then you say, ‘Great; cool; we did that for a reason’. And if it doesn’t then you say, ‘OK, we’ll go and do another one’. In this case that’s not an option. If people didn’t like it, then it would really be a big failure.”

Wow, it’s been a crazy week for Twilighters, hasn’t it? Now, only six days after director Catherine Hardwicke parted ways with the fall’s biggest franchise, it is official: Chris Weitz has been handed the keys to the kingdom.
“I am honored to have been entrusted with shepherding ‘New Moon’ from the page to the screen,” Weitz said in a statement released today, discussing his involvement with Stephenie Meyer’s second novel. “The extraordinary world that Stephenie has created has millions of fans, and it will be my duty to protect on their behalf the characters, themes and story they love. This is not a task to be taken lightly, and I will put every effort into realizing a beautiful film to stand alongside a beautiful book.”
“We love Stephenie Meyer’s fantastic ‘Twilight’ series,” promised Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Production. “Thinking long and hard about how to turn ‘New Moon’ into the amazing movie we know it will be, and working with Stephenie Meyer to find the right candidate, we are thrilled to announce Chris Weitz as director of the film. Chris very much understands the world of ‘New Moon,’ and has the skill set required to bring the book to glorious life as a movie. We think he will be an excellent steward of Stephenie Meyer’s vision.”
Explaining the Weitz selection further, the Summit release added: “Weitz, an Academy Award-nominated writer, director and producer, has a proven track record working with a broad range of material dealing with youth-oriented characters, fantasy and action. As such, he has the potential to bring alive in ‘New Moon’ the dimensions and depth that fans will demand in the next installment.”

Does she love rock ’n’ roll?
Joan Jett’s Web site says she is anxious to meet Kristen Stewart and talk about Stewart’s role in “The Runaways.” Jett is an executive producer of the movie about her all-female band from the 1970s, but she was not involved in the casting decisions. Last week Stewart was tapped to play Jett, providing she can find time around the shooting of the next “Twilight” movie.

Johnny Depp was No. 1 and Christian Bale was No. 2 on IMDB.com’s list of the top movie stars of 2008.
IMDB.com, a subsidiary of Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN), said the rankings were determined by its Starmeter tool that ranks celebrities’ popularity. Depp has ranked No. 1 for five years in a row.
Rounding out the list’s top 10 were Heath Ledger, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Kristen Stewart, Will Smith and Gerard Butler.
“The Starmeter list is a true gauge of what’s hot in pop culture based on actual user interest and visits to a star’s page,” said Keith Simanton, managing editor, IMDB.com, in a statement.
