I have made HD movie captures of Kristen in the 2007 movie “The Cake Eaters”. I replaced the DVD quality ones. Kristen played Georgia, a terminally ill teenage girl. Love this movie. If you haven’t watched it, you should. It’s some of her best work!

I know I’ve mentioned the possible Oscar campaign for The Cake Eaters a few times, but thanks to Tegan for the reminder to make an actual post about it! ;) The official blog for the film is holding a poll deciding whether to run an Oscar campaign or not. They’re pretty close to their quota, but make sure to vote if you haven’t: they need 10,000 votes by Thursday. Head on over!

Though Kristen Stewart shot to fame in “Twilight,” the 18-year-old actress had a much lower profile when Mary Stuart Masterson saw her three years ago.
“I had seen her work, but at this point she hadn’t been in ‘Into the Wild’ or ‘Twilight.’ When I met her I was struck with her poise and self-possession,” Masterson said. “There was this ferocity about her.”
