You might have heard about news and reports on Snow White & The Huntsman sequel already; The Hollywood Reporter told that Kristen dropped from ‘Snow White’ sequel plans earlier today.

Universal has decided to shelf its planned Snow White and the Huntsman sequel and is instead focusing on a solo Huntsman movie starring Chris Hemsworth. Kristen Stewart will not be invited to return if the follow-up goes forward.

The Huffington Post reports now, with an update to their original post, that Universal has released a statement to say that they are currently exploring all options to continue the franchise and that any reports about Kristen being dropped are false.

Universal has released the following statement: “We are extremely proud of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.”
