Am now reading #2, the girl who played with fire and am more convinced. If you haven't seen Kristen Stewart in "Scream" you have no idea of her depth and range - unfortunately way too many people only reference the Twilight films and don''t really know her as an Actor. Natalie Portman is way to soft and sweet looking to really pull off the dark side of this woman, Kristen Stewart can. I wish her the very best. Salander's pubescent boyish looks become v. important to the plot in the 2nd and 3rd books. Millennium is in a completely different league to Twilight and Stewart isn't ready for such a complex role. Salander has a photographic memory, is a maths genius,computer genius, is raped twice, been abused her whole life, is legally incompetent, bisexual and suffers from Aspergers syndrome. Portman is more experienced and has something to prove to her critics since Leon. Maybe Ellen Page too, remember her in Hard Candy. p.s. Gerard Butler is a good shout for Kalle Blomkvist!
