I think the interviewer was hinting on the relationship rumor between Robert and Kristen and Taylor came to her rescue. Her kissing his shoulder could be an expression of gratitude. She was quoted saying in an interview that she has a very open relationship with Taylor which is very rare for someone like her to have.
